How many guests can you accommodate?
Our venue accommodates up to 300 guests.
I want to have an outdoor ceremony, but what happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
In case of inclement weather, our beautiful 4000 square foot tent provides the space that is needed to hold your ceremony and reception. We have an established plan that creates a seamless transition between ceremony and reception should the need arise.
Am I required to use specific vendors?
We do not require that you use specific vendors. We provide a list of vendors, such as caterers, florists, photographers, and DJ’s for your convenience.
Can we bring our own food?
Yes, you may cater your own event.
Can I provide my own alcohol?
We allow beer and wine at our facilities. We do not allow liquor. You will be required to get an ABC (Virginia Alcohol and Beverage Control) license for the event. We will provide the details on how to obtain this license during your tour.
Is there a place for my wedding party to get dressed?
Yes, we have a spacious “bridal suite” that gives the bride and her bridesmaids plenty of room to get ready and relax before the “big moment” arrives. We also have a separate “groom’s quarters” for the groom and his groomsmen.
What type of bathrooms does Wisteria Ridge have?
We have separate indoor bathrooms for both women and men. Bathrooms are roomy and handicap (ADA) accessible.
Do you provide tables and chairs?
We can accommodate up to 300 guests, therefore we provide tables and chairs for up to 300.
Where would my ceremony and reception take place?
We have multiple areas on the property to choose from. We have a beautiful area next to the pond with amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, a Rustic Barn, a cozy fire pit area and a beautiful 4000 square foot tent.
Are the Tent and Barn decorated?
The beautiful 4000′ square foot tent is complete with string lights, ceiling fans, a bar area, a dance floor and a sound system. The barn has string lights and a beautiful chandelier. We have a selection of items left behind from previous weddings that you are welcome to use. You are also welcome to add your own decor and personal touches.
Can I use Wisteria Ridge for my Engagement/Bridal photos?
Absolutely! Included in your venue rental, is a 2-hour timeframe that you can use for engagement photos or bridal portraits. This time will be scheduled with your Venue Event Manager.
Can I use Wisteria Ridge for a photography session for something other than weddings?
Yes, due to popular demand we have opened up our venue for other Photography sessions. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details!
What is included in the venue rental?
Included in your venue rental: tables and chairs for up to 300 guests, tables for gifts, registry, DJ, food, and beverages. We include a bar and bartender (s), use of a caterer’s kitchen, on-site attendants, set-up and clean up, indoor bathroom facilities with handicap accessibility (ADA), and many, many more services and amenities which we will discuss during our initial meeting when you tour Wisteria Ridge.
Who will set up the event space?
Our staff will set up all items provided by Wisteria Ridge. Set up of rental items from outside vendors or client-provided equipment is the responsibility of the client.
When can we have access to the venue on the day of our event?
On the date of the event, venue access is from 9:00 am until 11:00 pm. There is also additional time available on the day prior to the event for your wedding rehearsal.
Will there be enough parking for our guests?
Yes, we have ample space for parking!
How will I know if you have my date available?
Our availability changes frequently, but we will do our best to help you find a suitable date.
How far in advance do I need to book the venue?
We would love to schedule a time to meet you and show you our facilities. The sooner you book the better! To secure your date, we require a 50% deposit and a signed contract. We cannot wait to meet you and help you create your perfect day!
When can I tour Wisteria Ridge?
